1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember information about your visit (such as your language preference) and how you interact with the site. Similar technologies — like local storage and pixels — are covered by this policy too.
2. Categories of cookies we use
We classify cookies into the categories below, using the framework recommended by the European Data Protection Board.
(a) Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off. They are typically only set in response to actions you take, such as submitting a form, setting privacy preferences, or signing in. They do not store any directly identifying personal data.
(b) Preferences
These remember choices you make so we don't ask again on your next visit (for example, dismissing the cookie banner). Preferences are stored in your browser's local storage rather than as server-readable cookies.
(c) Analytics
We do not currently run third-party analytics on this site. If we add analytics in future, this section will be updated and any non-essential analytics will be disabled until you give consent.
(d) Marketing
We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies on this site, and we do not share data with advertising networks.
3. Specific items we set today
- foighne.cookie-consent — local storage entry that records whether you accepted or rejected the cookie banner. Stored locally in your browser, never sent to our servers, expires after 12 months.
That's the complete list as of the date at the top of this page. We will update this section before any new cookie or tracker goes live.
4. Server logs
Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs for security and reliability. These are not cookies, but you can read about them in the Privacy Policy, section 2(b).
5. Managing cookies
You can change your choice at any time by clicking the Cookieslink in the footer, which re-opens the consent banner. You can also delete the local-storage entry above through your browser's developer tools or privacy controls — most browsers let you clear site data with one click in their settings.

6. Changes to this policy
If we add new cookies or change how they are used, we will update this page and re-trigger the consent banner where required by the ePrivacy Directive.
